In 2010, our annual Laser conference was held in Christchurch. We chose Cholmondeley Home as a worthy cause for our help.

Every year the team at Cholmondeley provides short term quality care for dozens of children aged between 3 and 12 years. These children come from homes where serious pressures exist such as addiction, illness, mental health issues, financial stress, even the death of a parent.

We are proud to announce that in excess of $100,000 worth of work was completed over the two days before our Laser Conference by a small army of Laser volunteers, including the installation of a much needed new hot water system, as well as new lighting, power, drinking fountains, TV’s, BBQ’s, toilets, basins and tap ware. We also chipped in to help with some cleaning and gardening which was greatly appreciated by the staff at Cholmondeley.

Thanks very much to everyone involved. See more on Cholmondeley’s Facebook photo album and learn more at
